Glastonbury Pilgrimage Association and Water Aid Partnership
The Glastonbury Pilgrimage, to be held this year on Saturday 16th June, has formed a partnership with the well-known charity WaterAid.
For the next five years parishes supporting the Pilgrimage will be raising money for a specific WaterAid Project -- the provision of drinking-water and sanitation for a number of villages in Central Uganda. The Project itself is due to begin in April of this year.
This year there is a target of £5,000, but should this be exceeded, the scope of the project may well be able to be enlarged.
